Harpoon Clone
Slightly darker and heavier than Harpoon, but very close in flavor.

Ingredients:Fermenation:Statistics:
IBU: Bitterness  SRM: Color  ABV: Alcohol
  • 6.6 lbs Muntons light malt extract
  • 1/2 lb Crystal malt
  • 1/2 lb Roasted barley
  • 3 oz Cascade pellet hops
  • Whitbread ale yeast
  • 3/4 cup corn sugar
Primary: 7 days
Secondary: Strain through cheese cloth, rack for additional 7 days
Preparation:
  1. Steep grains for 20 minutes and sparge.
  2. Add malt extract and 1 oz Cascade hops and bring level of wort to 2 1/2 gallons. Bring to slow boil.
  3. After 50 minutes of boiling, add 1 oz of Cascade hops.
  4. Boil for 8 minutes and add 1 ounce of Cascade hops.
  5. Boil for 2 more minutes and turn off heat.
